I filed a complaint against the BOD because they are not following the Declaration – by-laws – rules and regulations of the Association. I have been notified not to contact board members or my management company. I pay maintenance fees monthly. Do I have to pay towards maintenance fees if not allowed to contact them? and, is this considered discrimination or being persecuted? Thank you.

I am being backed into a corner trying to sell my unit for the last 2 years. I have a neighbor right next door who has a picture window filled with dead plants and is dirty. Prospective buyers are appalled with the window site and also have noticed the building needs a lot of maintenance.
The board says we have no money and yet we have $43,000,000 in the reserve. Three buyers declined. Last month I decided to rent the unit. I asked at an annual meeting if there was a waiting list. They said we do not have one. I asked to be on the list. No response. Yesterday in a nasty letter I was told there are 3 on the list and have been for years (2014) this was never posted and the three owners are still there with no plans of moving. My unit is empty and I am told we are at our max with rentals (5) and after checking with the city, our HUD contract states 25% renters. In a 30 unit building that would be 7. How long can you be on that list without making a move to rent? I am stuck with a unit I can’t sell or rent. Who can I contact.
